AGRANA's Starch segment is the second traditional core business area of the Group. AGRANA is the specialist in the processing and refining of top-quality agricultural raw materials such as corn, wheat and potatoes to create a variety of different, highly refined starch products.

Close co-operation with customers and the development of tailor-made solutions, made it possible for AGRANA to continually expand the Starch business. Our priority aim is to manufacture starch products of highest quality, using state-of-the-art and environmentally friendly methods:

Food and Feed Sector

• Products for Food industry including
• GMO-free corn-based products

• By-products deriving from starch production are offered as valuable animal feed.

As well as the bioethanol plant in Pischelsdorf, Lower Austria. The Hungarian corn starch and isoglucose plant of Hungrana Kft also produces bioethanol.
