Great Western Grain Co. Ltd. Is an independent, family owned corporation located near Lloydminster, Saskatchewan in the heart of pea production area of Western Canada. We are a licenced and bonded grain company with the Canadian Grain Commission. Our company has been processing and exporting Canadian pulses since 1984. The products we export are 100% Canadian, produced in Western Canada and are used for human edible consumption throughout the world. We commissioned our new pulse splitting facility in 2004 where we now produce yellow split peas, red split lentils, yellow split lentils, green split peas and channa dal (split desi chickpeas) which are shipped worldwide in 15-50kg poly bags or bulk in containers.

We are a processor of the products we ship and are proud of the fact that we have been in the business under the same ownership for the past 27 years. Our state of the art splitting plant is equipped with Sortex color sorting equipment which allows us to supply the highest standards of quality products available. Our dedicated processing staff implement and ensure quality control of all our products through strict guidelines and documentation of all storage, handling and grading of shipments.
